Time: The ideal time to visit Sapa is from May to October
Prepare
– Cash: You should bring some cash as some points in Sapa do not pay with cards
– Dress:
- If you go in the summer, you will bring a jacket. Because some temperature points are 5-10 degrees difference
- If you go in low temperature winter, bring warm clothes
- Sports shoes should be worn

DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA
Morning: From Hanoi to Sapa it takes about 6 hours by car

Noon: After 6 hours drive to Sapa. You come to the hotel to check-in and relax

Note:
– You should order the taxi driver to wait at the sky gate, otherwise it will be difficult to catch the car from the Sapa Sky Gate to the town
– You should bring a jacket because the temperatures are lower here than in town
Night: After visiting the Heaven Gate, return to the center of town for dinner and overnight at the hotel

DAY 2: SAPA FULL DAY
Morning: After enjoying the buffet breakfast at the hotel, start departing to Sun Plaza to buy tickets for Muong Hoa mountain train and ticket to Fansipan

+ Muong Hoa train ticket: 100.000 VND/person/round-trip ticket
+ Fansipan ticket:
- Adult: 750.000 VND/person/round-trip ticket
- Children (1m-1m4): 550.000 VND/person/round-trip ticket
- Under 1m: Free
Suggestions: You should buy a buffet lunch ticket at Van San restaurant then take the cable car to Fansipan
At Fansipan, you have 2 options:
Option 1: Walk to Fansipan peak
You can enjoy the scenery, visit the pagoda and take beautiful pictures, but this option is not for the impatient because the way to Fansipan Peak is quite far away.
Option 2: Use the mountain train
It only takes a short time to reach Fansipan peak, but you will not be able to go to all the attractions
Ticket price mountain train:
- Ticket to Fansipan peak: 70.000 VND
- Ticket from Fansipan peak to the original point: 80.000 VND
Note:
- You should bring a jacket and raincoat because the weather on Fansipan peak is different from below town
- Sports shoes will be a great choice
- Have fun at Fansipan to play for a whole day to feel the beauty of this place as well as to save costs
Night: After the Fansipan peak tour you return to town for dinner and visit the city at night
Suggestions: If you want to explore the Sapa night market, you can take a tram, there are many delicious barbecue dishes at the night market. You can also buy lovely items as gifts for friends and relatives.
DAY 3: CAT CAT – SAPA – HANOI
On the last day in Sapa, you will visit Cat Cat Village – a famous attraction of Sapa, 2km from town. At Cat Cat village you can rent ethnic costumes or vintage clothes with prices from 50,000 to 150,000 VND.
